All Alter Ego acoustic instruments are handmade and customizable to your needs whether you are an amateur or a principal violist. In particular the electric viola is available with different body lengths (39, 40, 40.5 and 41 mm). Our acoustic electric instruments are made with selected materials (red Italian Spruce, Balkan Maple and an Ebony fingerboard), which give them long-standing durability - and make them repairable all over the world. It is a true prodigy among electric instruments with the characteristic of a light resonance chamber, which allows for creating an incredibly natural sound and gives it a sleek appearance.
Alter Ego electric violas, as all our string instruments, can be equipped with a concert, a buffer or a dual preamp set up for amplification and can be furnished with two internal piezo pick-ups - giving you greater flexibility to adapt to audio systems.
Alter Ego violas are available in the left-handed and well-tempered version.
